Rhinoplasty/Nose Surgery

A rhinoplasty can be performed after the nose has come to the full growth stage, usually mid-twenties. This surgery is done to reshape the nose and improve the appearance and proportion of the nose, enhancing facial contour and self-confidence. This surgery can be performed for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes.

Swelling will naturally occur after surgery but will dissipate for several months up to one year. Rhinoplasty commonly takes 3 – 6 hours with phenomenal results. Recovery time is 2 weeks with postponed strenuous activity for 6 weeks.

Results are permanent; cartilage may continue to reshape and move tissue that may change over time.
